How much money can I lose in worst case?
Trading always has risks. In worst case you could potentially lose all of your money. It’s highly recommended to not over leverage and only risk money that you can afford to lose.
But all of our strategies have specific rules to pretend your capital from significant losses:
- Position sizes always use a specific % of your equity (capital) – This way losing positions get smaller und winning positions get bigger over multiple trades, which leads to lower losses and higher returns and makes it very unlikely to lose 100%.
- Position sizes are always calculated in a way, that even with several losses in a row it’s very unlikely to run into a margin call, because in all years before (at last 20 years) it didn’t happend.
- Some strategies have specific stop losses and others have triggers based on indicators and data to stop losing trades.
Do I need experience in trading? How much?
Trading experience is not needed, but helps.
